Frequently Watched Series

Some anime you can watch just once and not feel compelled to watch again.  I call those "bad shows".  There are others you may enjoy, but don't feel overly compelled to watch but once in a great while.  Most of the Key visual novel series, like Kanon and Clannad, I cannot watch but once in a great while because of the emotional depth of the stories.  Then there are those you watch once in a while.  For me, that is Fullmetal Alchemist and Chobits.  Then there are others you frequently watch, sometimes just to have background noise wherever you're at.  Those are the ones I'm talking about today.

The near sitcomyness of this series makes it an easy one to grab.
You will probably notice a theme among the ones I mention on here, but the ones I tend to grab more often include the likes of Sgt. Frog, Hetalia: Axis Powers, and Paniponi Dash.  Yes, they are all comedy-type shows (at least here in NA), but they also have a special quality about them that makes it easy to watch for me.  I think the main reason I watch them most frequently would be two-fold. 1) I tend to respond better to series with more comedic tones and 2) They are easy to pick up, just watch one or two, and go on with my day.
Paaaaaastaaaaaaa!
The ones I frequent aren't excluded to these three, but they are the ones I would say would be highest on the list.  I also watch Durarara, Baccano, Genshiken, and several others, but these are standouts because I know I can grab whatever disc from any of these collections and wouldn't be required to watch or read several hours of backstory.
Seriously, watch this, right now!!!
Does that mean that these are my favorites?  Not necessarily.  Out of this list, the only one out of all of these that I would put in my current top five would be Sgt. Frog, so a frequently watched series does not a personal favorite make.  It is hard for someone with a job and other responsibilities to find a few hours to sink into a series.  I would much rather marathon shows like Baccano and Eden of the East than to just watch an episode or two every other day.

What does your most frequently watched series say about you?  Do you agree that just because you watch it often doesn't mean it's a favorite of yours?
